She married John Beckman January 20, 1884.(1345) John was born in Lock Haven, Clinton Co., PA circa 1865. (Additional notes for John Beckman(1346)) John died March 16, 1932 in Buffalo, New York, at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Lock Haven, Clinton Co., PA. Loretta or Retta as she was often known and John both hailed from Lock Haven at the time they were married by Reverend P.A. Heilman. He died at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The fact that the family was travelling to the funeral of John and Retta's son William when the accident occurred only makes both events more tragic. and her death notice listed her as living at 14 South Grove Street, Lock Haven, PA. They are buried in the Highland Cemetery. When she died, she was the grandmother of 4 and the great-grandmother of 8.
